The “First Montpelier Home Tour,” this past Saturday October 15, promises not to be the last, given the literally hundreds of happy house-gogglers (not googlers!) who enjoyed decent and even sunny weather for the tour. Financially, too, the event seems to have been a success for the five local organizations involved, although the final results aren’t yet in. Thanks to Paul Gambill and the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra for organizing the tour and to the five householders who opened their fine homes to view. Especial thanks to the MSAC volunteer “docents” and to those who bought tickets to benefit the MSAC campaign.
